Editorial Policy
Our editorial goal is to make crystal and mineral information useful without blurring geology, commerce and belief.
Editorial priorities
We prioritise mineralogy and geology, identification and authenticity, care and ownership, lapidary craft, interiors and display, and history and culture. Traditional or spiritual meanings are a secondary topic and are labelled as beliefs or practices rather than demonstrated effects.
Human review
CSV imports and other bulk-created drafts are starting material, not finished publication. Before a page is treated as editorially ready, a human editor should verify factual claims, add or check sources, review the wording for originality and usefulness, and record a fact-check date.
Originality
We do not publish scraped copy or lightly reworded versions of other sites. Reference facts may be shared across sources, but the explanation, comparisons, photographs, observations and organisation should add something useful for the reader.
Traditional associations
Statements such as “rose quartz is associated with love” describe cultural, spiritual or contemporary crystal traditions. They are not presented as scientifically established effects and are not medical, psychological or financial advice.
Corrections
Material errors are corrected when identified. Pages may also be updated when mineral terminology, treatment information or sourcing details become clearer.
